This will be the only American Idol show this season I've anticipated. Hopefully the song selection will include some of the early Bee Gee material that often gets overlooked; the general public needs to know about the classic material BEFORE Saturday Night Live. (This is especially true for the legion of disco haters.) The results-show performance will be very interesting and a bit heart-wrenching without all the brothers. Seeing Barry solo, hmmmmm. What a surprise if Robin appears! The Final Four won't do the Bee Gees justice, I'm fearing, but will remind viewers just how magnigicant the originals were. Carry on!!

hi Barry,
I'm from Poland .I met you once ,about 17 years ago on your concert in Mannhaim and Berlin(backstage),also in Miami at the studio.These were the greatest moments in my life!!!The great time.Time is passing and things are changing.Now I'm 40,fave family ,problems and joys and not much time to listen to the music
of the Bee Gees or any other.Someone may say I'm not the fan anymore-but it's sitll here,in my heart....I've found this page and what's here-Barry!I will be visiting this blog to hear from you...
Also glad to know you had agood time-have a graet time always Barry !!!

I live a short way from your old house in manchester...it's grim up north! I met you with a couple of mates when you did a clay pidgeon shoot for charity with Jackie Stewart..princess anne was there also..remember!

I have watched your career from afar, the singer song writer thing seems to hold less value these days...I think it's THE thing which seperates the really talented artists from the rest..hopefully you'll give higher marks to the writers on idol...not sure if we'll get to see it in rainy manchester..the house is still standing by the way!

Barry YOU ROCK...I am 51 years old and have always loved you and the others. Last night on American Idol it was wonderful seeing you again and hearing you sing just like it was back then. If you know what I mean :0)
