Im so sorry to hear about your four legged family member Duane... I know all to well about sick dogs and cats. I do hope he gets better and you can have a happy birthday. Please do not apologize, you are very special to us fans, you have "given us fans" more than you know! Please take care of your little buddy and try to enjoy your birthday (wedding anniversary also) us fans will always be here waiting!

just read about duane. really hope he will be okay for you. I have a pet who is very special and I know how it feels when something is wrong and there is nothing you can do.

So sorry to hear about Duane as we lost our Dalmation Baby a beloved family member of 15 years last October. Our pets hold a very special place in out hearts and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Oh, Barry, I am so sorry. Having a pet or a child sick is the worst-you feel so helpless!!!!!! And our pets are very much a part of our families.
Of course we all understand and we look forward to whenever you can reschedule.

I understand 100% why you can't do the webcast on Saturday. We do the same things with our animals, they become part of the family and there isn't anything you won't do for them. This is just another reason why people love you and your family, you really do care about people and animals. I hope and pray that your dog recover's. Hang in there Gibb family and I will watch for the next webcast.

I am so sorry to hear about Duane. I hope he gets well soon. I have an old girl, she's been with me for about 14 years so i can very much appreciate what you and your family are going through.
We know that our pets will not be with us forever, but we are never really prepared for that reality. I hope that Duane has many years left to share with you.

Barry, I am very sorry to hear this about Duane. I can relate. Our pets are our family too and when they get sick, it's just like having a sick child.
Will keep all of you in prayer during this time.
Try to have a Happy Birthday/Happy Anniversary anyway.
Will be thinking about you as I travel (driving) to Louisiana from North Carolina, to be with my family during Labor Day.

Glad to hear Duane is a doing a little better. I understand. My mini-dachshund was paralyzed approx. 10 weeks ago and had to undergo emergency back surgery (ouch, I know you sympathize with her there). We didn't know what to do but she is only 4 years old, we had to help her get better. It was a long road to recovery for her as well with painful physical therapy and lots of carrying up and down stairs, but now she is running and fetching again.

I truly hope the same for Duane. Hang in there a little longer; he'll thank you for it!

I'm sorry to here about Duane. I know how painful it is to have a pet sick or injured. Our cat Nemo has been with us for about 3 years. He got injured this weekend. His right paw is broken but we are grateful. We found out that a huge dog fight occured and another cat had a chunk bitten out of his hind leg and his tail got bitten off. This could've been our cat. I sincerely hope that your dog is much better now. We are praying for your dog and family and our cat Nemo and the other cat Minnie.

God.................I hope Duane is still hanging in there. I cannot imagine anyone going through what i just did with my girl Annie. She was with me for 14 1/2 of her 16 years. She was my best friend in the whole world...............she and your music saw me through the ups and downs of my life. She shared my bed for all those years, and now she is gone. I never imagined the hole in my heart she would leave behind, but still, I have her memories with me and am thankful for the years I had with her. Now once again, I turn to the music of the Bee Gees to carry me thru. Thank you, Barry, from my heart.
