No WAY has it been 30 years! Where has the time gone???!!! Congrats on the SNF anniversary. I was 11 years old at the time and managed to get to see that movie thanks to my friend's mom (who didn't know what the rating was). Boy, did I learn a few things, lol! I got grounded by my mom for going but it was worth it! ;)

No Way! 30 years- it can't possibly be that long, can it???????
I got the SNF 30th anniversary edition today too and look forward to sitting down to watch it this weekend, and again getting lost in the best soundtrack music in Music history! I still love the SNF stuff as well as the other wonderfull music that came from Barry Gibb and the BeeGees. Since I'll be at the trailer to watch it, the trailer will be just a rockin this weekend!!!!!!!

I just finished watching the VH1 documentary "The Bee Gees Story (2001)" for the 100th time. I need to clean out my TIVO recordings, but can't bring myself to delete this show. The "disco" era sounds has such wonderful feelings and memories associated with those years in my life. Just wanted to Thank You and your family for those special contributions to those happy special links to the past only music can summon. My daughter (19) and her friends also love the "oldies" ya'll presented to the world. Sooo cool that new generations can appreciate your great talents now. Best Wishes - Always a Fan!

Dear Barry, Just want to thank you and your Brothers for the music that is a part of the soundtrack to my life! I can't imagine not having the music of the Brothers Gibb. The Saturday Night Fever soundtrack was and is one of my all time loves of my life! I was young (6) but old enough to know how good the music made me feel dancing to it. My older sisters at that time (17 & 20)taught my twin sister and I how to dance to all that music. Wow, it brings back a very innocent and happy time in my life! Till this day you are and always be one of my favorites. Even 6 year olds had a crush on you :). The artists who performed on the soundtrack did the music much much justice... outstanding! I still have my original LP and take it out and listen to it. I have memories of driving in my sisters old chevy nova on a saturday singing along to "if i cant have you" at 6 years old knowing all the lyrics. So good to see a message, or two, from you. We are all wondering how Duane is doing. Hoping that he recovered and is well.
I find it almost impossible to beleive that in has been 30 years. Your remembrences of the era make me smile...for girls: BIG hair, loud, plasitc earrings and lots of makeup--blue eye shadow and bright lips. Let us not forget the attire, painted on jeans and high heels...really the list in endless.

Thanks for the great music over the years and thank you, thank you SO much for finally releasing the 12" promo mix of Stayin' Alive on the new greatest hits remaster. As a DJ, I've been waiting for this on CD for years! I love this mix - it takes me right back to 1978!

I've been digging deeper into the catalog this year and am looking forward to more album remasters.

Love the SNF album, and film-- I can still remember the feeling I got putting the album on the turntable and playing it all the way through-- Of course, I still think The Bee Gees version of If I Can't Have You is totally superior to Yvonne E.'s! As well it should be!! Just think-- If The Brothers Gibb hadn't given the songs they'd written for their own album over to Robert for the film, SNF would have been just another ordinary movie... Nothing significant.. It was the MUSIC that made the movie what it was...and still is today!! So, I say CONGRATULATIONS to you, Barry, Robin, and Mo (God rest his soul) No one on the planet compares to you!!♥♥♥

"Fever night...Fever Night...." how time has flown. Nice to go back to the fun times and great music ever including the dancing. What a time it was and all those stylish clothing and that hair. Going back in time when things were not that complicating as they are in todays world and everyone just wanted to dance and sing those great hits.

Hi Barry, I received the Bee Gees Greatest last week, Even ordered another one with the tee shirt. Barry, Warm Ride is so beautiful. I don't know if it's because my mind is gone, ha (memory not good) and at 55 thats scary, ha, but with all the music I have of yall, I can't recall ever hearing this and this song touches my heart like I can't explain. Living Eyes the same way. You Bee Gees, are The Greatest. God Bless you all for the always beautiful music. Yall have touched so many hearts for so many years. Hi, i´am a BEE GEES Fan since 1964. I was 12 Years old, when i byied my 1st BEEGEES single "Spicks and Specks". From this time I was a BEEGEES Fan forever. I own all in Germany available Singles, LP s and Cd s and Videos. And I think, the BEEGEES ar the most wonderful Group for all times. Songwriters for themselve and others.
Sorry for my English, i am 54 and learning.
But almost the BEEGEES are the greatest for all times!!!!!
Sorry that i have seen them never live!! We were a family with 8 children and no bucks. Only for living.
Mo and Andy RIP. Barry and Robin: Sing and write so great songs for the next 40 years. I LOVE YOUR MUSIC!!!!!!!

Congrats on 30 years, man they go by fast. I have loved your music for many moons now. SNF is my favorite album of all time and I have two of them, because I have worn one out. The music was the best and really made the movie a big hit. Everytime I play your music it brings me back to the best times in my life and I know I can never re-live those times again but it makes me smile and remember what a great time that was. I was blessed to meet Andy in Las Vegas when he was in a celebrity baseball tournamet when I lived there. He even signed my baseball shirt and I still have it. I remember what a nice man he was, I will never get rid of that shirt, god rest his sole. I know he is making sweet music in a higher place along with Mo. God bless you Barry and Robin, keep making great music and I will always be listening.

My first album ever that was purchased was this Saturday Night Fever album..I've bought 45s before (showing my age here!) but didn't have the money to buy albums...well, SNF broke That spell!

Also, I saw This is Your Life with the BeeGees on YouTube! But I had to watch it in 4 parts...so I was wondering if a DVD of the entire broadcast could be released. What memories with all of the kids being....KIDS!!! (Ali wasn't even born yet!)
I know a lot of us fans would enjoy and cherish that DVD tremendously.

One of my favorite beegees soundtracks brings back sweet memories,but the one that i love so much is the soundtrack of melody,wondering if you ever going to re-release this beauty along with the movie,now that was something that changed my life,cause i fell in love for the first time,too bad don't have the sweet lady with me,but when listening any of the songs,her beautifull face illuminates my brain instantly,thats an impact that not just any tune inluences my soul & my heart,thus far i made the songs into my baby's lullabies (hope you forget me for that),but congrats on the SNF anniversary,2 more things,are you ever going to release here at last bee gees live cd & concert dvd,and the spirits having flown concert on dvd,i saw you back in houston tx and would like to see it again on dvd.

Can't believe it's been 30 yrs..there will never be anything like it ever!!! I graduated high school that year and was totally swept up in the excitement it brought. I was a fan since Main Course and never stopped. The Spirits Tour in '79 was fantastic(MSG,NY). Of course, i adored Barry, but the brothers together were pure magic. Throughout the years, they've astonished me with their musical genius. Their harmonies cannot be duplicated.
Had the pleasure of meeting Maurice briefly,he kindly autographed my playbill for Andy's opening night on Broadway. What a thrill!! Can't believe he is gone. I'll always remember his smiling face.
I look forward to many more years of GREAT music...

Barry, For what it's worth,You and your brothers dvd called BeeGees One Night Only I play all the time. I have multiple sclerosis and am in pain most of the time. Your dvd seems to be all that soothes me.
